Job summary

Accrete, Inc. in Lower Manhattan, NY seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will collaborate with engineering teams to optimize performance, reliability, and security across systems.

The role emphasizes automation, monitoring, and CI/CD maturity, while mentoring junior engineers and adopting the latest DevOps practices and tools to accelerate secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.
• Deep expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, Go).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

Responsibilities

About Role

The Senior Platform Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role drives the automation, monitoring, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes to enable fast, secure, and efficient software delivery. The Senior AI Platform Engineer, Infrastructure collaborates with engineering teams to optimize system performance, reliability, and security while mentoring and guiding junior team members.

• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

• Proven experience supporting FedRAMP-authorized environments, including implementing, maintaining, and operating controls in accordance with FedRAMP Moderate or High requirements.

Salary Range

180k-210k
