Job summary

Clarity Rcm is seeking a Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will drive DevSecOps practices, improve developer productivity, and shape our platform and developer experience.

The role emphasizes containerized workloads, IaC, and modern CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with engineering teams to ship software safely and quickly in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, Platform or Cloud Infrastructure
• Strong AWS experience
• Hands-on AWS CDK (Python/Go/TypeScript)
• Background in software development
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub or GitLab)
• Strong IaC knowledge
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with ECS and/or Kubernetes
• Observability via OpenTelemetry
• Security controls in CI/CD and infrastructure
• OAuth-based authentication integration
• Focus on improving developer workflows
• Proficiency with Linux systems
• Solid networking, security, and distributed systems understanding

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve cloud architecture, platform infra, and deployment strategies.
• Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain IaC using AWS CDK (Python/Go/TypeScript).
• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployments.
• Embed DevSecOps practices into pipelines and workflows.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing with OpenTelemetry.
• Improve Developer Experience with internal tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance build systems and tests.
• Design secure authentication & authorization integrations (OAuth).
• Enhance security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
• Optimize for performance, scale, reliability, and cost.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Operate containerized workloads using ECS/EKS and/or Kubernetes.
• Document infrastructure architectures and operational processes
