Job summary

Clarity Innovations seeks a Junior DevSecOps Engineer to join our remote team supporting national security initiatives. You will help design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.

You will implement automation, IaC with Terraform, and monitoring with CloudWatch, while maintaining a security-first mindset and collaboration with software engineers and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or 4 years of related experience.
• 1+ years experience in cloud technologies, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevSecOps tools.

Job Title: Junior DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Remote

Clearance Level: Secret or Clearable

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree
• 1 or more years experience in cloud technologies and infrastructure, CI/CD and pipelines, Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

Technical Requirements

• Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience using web servers, application containers
• Experienced in providing DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar tools
• Experienced in developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications.
• Working knowledge of source version control, build/release tools and methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of the Software Build process.
• Shall have a passion for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for a large enterprise that consists of hundreds of applications.
• Possess a strong security-first mindset.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code supporting automation and orchestration within AWS or Azure/GCP cloud environments
• Hands‑on programming expertise in one or more of: Python, DSL, JSON, YAML
• Experience working with automation and orchestration tools including one or more of: Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker
• Cloud services experience including:
  • AWS services IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, EC2, S3, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS

$46,000 - $150,000
