Job summary

TKO is seeking a Senior Data Engineer, Data Platform, to own pipelines, data models, and Snowflake infrastructure across UFC, WWE, PBR, IMG, and On Location. You will contribute to the Platform Unification effort, delivering reusable components and cost-aware design at scale.

In this role you’ll build and enforce standards for data access, governance, and orchestration, partnering with DevOps, Data Science, Analytics, and security teams to propel a unified data estate forward.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production data platforms.
• Deep hands-on Snowflake administration including RBAC, cost, replication.
• Strong Python and SQL with a reusable shared library focus.
• Experience with modern orchestrators (Prefect, Airflow) on Kubernetes.
• CI/CD expertise with GitHub Actions and OIDC integration.

Responsibilities

• Own pipelines, data models, and platform reliability end to end.
• Triage incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Define service levels for pipelines: freshness, success rate, and recovery time.
• Provide guidance to engineers and analysts across the platform.
• Share in on-call rotation, including major live events.
