Iru is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Core Services, to scale and secure its foundational platform components across multiple product lines. You will decompose monoliths into scalable services, build self-serve infrastructure, and own critical components like API gateway, service mesh, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or similar.
• Experience in a B2B SaaS with multiple product lines.
• Strong SR/REST or gRPC API design and testing.
• Cloud experience on AWS or GCP; CI/CD and automation.
• Familiarity with microservices and service-oriented architecture.

Responsibilities

• Scale core services to handle growing customers, devices, and traffic.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure components.
• Improve reliability with best practice architectures and ops.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enable rapid product development.
• Drive engineering excellence in CI/CD and observability.
• Optimize performance for low latency and high throughput.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure platform uptime.
