Job summary

SciTec, a DoD-focused tech contractor, is seeking mission-driven Platform Software Engineers to design, maintain, and improve CI pipelines for secure builds and deployments. You will orchestrate automated deployments using Kubernetes and Helm, integrate artifact management and security scanning, and ensure robust release processes in a highly secure environment.

Applicants must have a STEM degree and at least 2 years of professional experience with Python, CI/CD tools, Git, and container

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field required.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Python3, CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins), Git, and container orchestration.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for DoD security clearance required.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve CI pipelines (GitLab CI) for secure software builds and deployments.
• Orchestrate automated deployments across development, test, and production using Kubernetes and Helm.
• Integrate CI pipelines with artifact management, testing, code quality, and security scanning tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline performance and deployment issues.
