Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Platform Administrator IV to lead complex platform changes, optimize performance, and advance automation. The role partners with engineering and product teams to sustain high availability and service quality.

The work arrangement includes 3 in-person days at Salisbury, NC and 2 remote days, with full-time US work authorization. Responsibilities include upgrading clusters, tuning resources, automating provisioning, and enforcing enterprise standards.

Qualifications

5+ years administering container or shared enterprise platforms.
5+ years administering VMware, Nutanix, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
5+ Years of experience Automate provisioning, configuration, and patching using Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.
Proficiency with Kubernetes/OpenShift and GitOps/IaC.
Strong skills in observability, incident response, and change controls.
Effective communication and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead complex platform changes, upgrades, and policy rollouts.
Optimize resource utilization and platform reliability via tuning and autoscaling.
Automate provisioning and compliance checks with IaC and GitOps.
Maintain security practices: RBAC, secrets management, and image controls.
Monitor SLOs/SLIs and drive incident resolution and root cause analyses.
