Job summary

Arm is seeking an Applications Engineering lead to act as the primary technical interface for customers across the product lifecycle. The role focuses on Linux kernel and drivers, system bring-up, and cross-team debugging spanning silicon, firmware, and operating system layers.

You will own complex issues, drive triage and resolutions with global teams, and deliver technical enablement through workshops and comprehensive documentation. Strong customer-facing skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years in silicon, firmware, or server platform development.
  • Strong OS enablement in firmware (ACPI/Devicetree).
  • Experience with Linux bring-up and debugging, including boot logs and early diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical interface for customers during their product lifecycle.
  • Be the domain authority on Linux kernel and drivers.
  • Perform hands-on debugging across firmware, silicon, and system-level issues.
  • Work with hardware teams to debug DDR, PCIe, and high-speed interfaces.
  • Lead triage, root cause analysis, and resolution with internal Arm teams.
  • Deliver technical enablement through workshops and documentation.
  • Collect findings from customer engagements and feed back into engineering and product teams.
