Job summary

Closure Systems International is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations. You will drive leadership development, safety, and continuous improvement to meet the company’s goals for quality, cost, and throughput.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in production management, with strong knowledge of OPEX and SPC; plastics manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in production management.
• Extensive knowledge of Operational Excellence (OPEX).
• Experience with process improvement and quality tools to reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and control the use of resources to produce high-quality closures at the lowest cost.
• Drive safety initiatives to meet all safety goals across the operation.
• Improve PSY/MPI performance, scrap and productivity, and drive process improvements.
• Develop and coach Production Manager, Supervisors, and Line Leaders to enhance performance.
• Implement and train on Operational Excellence concepts and quality tools to improve processes and outcomes.
