Job summary

Seaway Plastics seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee molding production, 5S, ISO adherence, and continuous improvement across the CA facility. You will align engineering, planning, and customer service to schedule work orders, manage capacity, and drive profitability through efficient tooling and robust processes.

The role requires a engineering degree, 10+ years in plastic injection molding, and 5–7 years in management with GMP/quality expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in plastic injection molding.
• 5–7 years’ management experience; motivate teams to exceed goals.
• Proficient with GMP and quality initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and develop a collaborative work environment.
• Deep knowledge of injection molding processes and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 5S principles and a safe, organized Brooksville CA facility.
• Support ISO standards and lead program management for CA production.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure timely, cost-efficient tooling.
• Identify areas to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
• Oversee CA Quality to drive continuous improvement and reduce throughput time.
• Monitor machine utilization and labor efficiency to meet financial goals.
• Manage staffing and conduct annual performance reviews for direct labor.
• Develop a culture recognizing employee contributions and participation.
• Represent Seaway Plastics in the community and promote goodwill.
