Job summary

Prestige Staffing is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead a high-volume manufacturing facility. You will oversee daily operations, drive production performance, and lead a large team to deliver safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will manage roughly 70 direct and indirect reports, partner with senior leadership, and champion continuous improvement in plastics manufacturing, extrusion, or other large-scale environments.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading operations in a high-volume, mass-production setting.
• Proven track record managing large teams (direct and indirect reports).
• Strong plant leadership and people-management experience.
• Experience in plastics manufacturing/extrusion or similar high-volume environment preferred.
• Candidates from other large-scale manufacturing settings will be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to improve production performance and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Professional presence; able to engage with executive leadership and ownership.
• Strong problem-solving and decisive thinking.
• Able to lead in a fast-paced, performance-driven facility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a large-scale manufacturing facility.
• Lead and develop approximately 70 direct and indirect employees.
• Drive production efficiency, quality, safety, and overall performance.
• Establish accountability and performance expectations across the plant.
• Develop and mentor supervisors and plant leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, throughput, and overall plant performance.
• Partner with senior leadership to support business and operational objectives.
• Maintain focus on employee engagement, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate performance, challenges, and opportunities to executive leadership.
• Ensure the facility meets production and operational goals.
