Job summary

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. Company is seeking a Seibi T/D Technician in the Plastics Production Engineering Department.

The role focuses on leading in quality development and confirmation of new model plastic shop injection mold and equipment processes to ensure KPI targets are met before handover to NAMC. You will report to the Process Engineering Manager and support the plastics production team in launching high-quality components for North American

Qualifications

• Experience leading new model launches in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with English-based ECI implementation on plastics molds.
• Hands-on in IMM/TIM molding equipment and/or injection molding processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for new model mold/equipment preparation and trials.
• Identify mold/equipment problems and implement countermeasures.
• Lead installation activities related to plastics equipment, robot teaching, and trials.
• Assist in specification reviews and vendor trials for new equipment.
• Support standardized work, training, and quality-control documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Skills

Automotive launch experience

ECI implementation on Plastics Molds

IMM/TIM molding equipment

Injection molding/processing/tooling

Travel up to 50% (international)

Education

Technical degree or higher
