Job summary

Club Car is seeking a Senior Plastics and Composites Design Engineer to lead the full design and release of production components for a growing small-vehicle company in Evans, GA. You will transform new ideas into robust plastic solutions, guiding material selection, tooling, validation, and launch across exterior panels, interior and chassis components.

The role requires 7+ years of plastics design experience, a bachelor's in plastics engineering technology or equivalent, and expertise in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Plastics Engineering Technology or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of thermoplastic and thermoset materials.
• Familiar with DFM, Mold Flow and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) required for the development of plastic parts.

Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert in plastic component design (exterior body panels, interior, chassis/structural components).
• Understand processes to manufacture plastic components: injection molding, extrusion, compression molding, blow molding, thermoforming, etc.
