Job summary

Micron Solutions is seeking an experienced Mold Maker/Toolmaker to independently build, repair, fit, maintain, and troubleshoot complex plastic injection molds in Fitchburg, MA. The role emphasizes hands-on tooling and precision craftsmanship, with relocation assistance available and a $7,500 sign-on bonus after six months.

You will diagnose mold issues, perform bench work, and collaborate with Processing, Engineering, and Production to ensure molds are ready for production runs.

Qualifications

• Direct hands-on experience building and repairing plastic injection molds.
• Ability to read mold drawings and dimensional specifications.
• Experience with precision fitting and bench work.

Responsibilities

• Build, fit, assemble, repair, and test complex molds to production-ready condition.
• Diagnose tooling problems and determine appropriate repairs.
• Support mold trials and tooling troubleshooting at the molding machine.
