Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of burn plasma/laser operation and programming.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and BOM to manufacture parts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Maintain strict tolerances on manufactured parts.
• Strong mathematical ability to calculate material needs.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and organizational skills across all levels.
• Forklift certification required.
• Safe working environment awareness.

Responsibilities

• Examine drawings/BOM to establish material/equipment needs.
• Set up burn table and cut parts.
• Program and operate burn table; report any variations.
• Load/unload sheet metal with forklift/cranes.
• Deburr parts with hand/power tools.
• Produce high-quality parts within tolerances.
• Instruct and train operators at all levels.
• Coordinate workflow with department leads/supervisors.
• Assist Production Manager with department budget.
• Lead by example to motivate the team.
• Give feedback during performance reviews with Production Manager.
• Maintain and service burn table as required.
• Promote core values and a positive work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
