Job summary

Pave Talent is recruiting a senior plant reliability engineer to oversee equipment health across reactors, vessels, pumps, and instrumentation. You will read P&IDs, support utilities, and troubleshoot to keep operations running smoothly at multiple plants.

Relocation is available for the right candidate. You will join a fast-scaling, multi-plant environment with a strong emphasis on process safety and hands-on problem solving, reporting to the engineering lead and guiding expansion projects as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years in plant, mechanical, or reliability engineering in an operating facility.
• Experience with chemical process equipment: reactors, vessels, pumps, valves, instrumentation.
• Strong command of P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
• Experience with plant utilities and process-support systems (HVAC, chilled water, DI water, exhaust).
• Process Safety Management (PSM) exposure.
• Relocation support available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment health across reactors, mixing vessels, pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
• Support plant utilities including DI water, HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, and related systems.
• Read P&IDs and process flow diagrams to troubleshoot and improve reliability.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and controls issues to keep the plant 90% self-sufficient.
• Support plant expansions, utility tie-ins, shutdown planning, and commissioning as new plants come online.
• Partner with corporate engineering and capital projects teams on the hardest 10% of issues.
• Work hands-on around flammable solvents and corrosives with a process-safety discipline.
