Job summary

Maker's Pride in Carol Stream, IL seeks a results-driven Plant Manager to oversee our co-manufacturing operations. You will lead production, packaging, maintenance, quality control, and safety, while driving efficiency and cost control.

You will manage a diverse team of managers and technicians, develop production schedules, ensure QA and regulatory compliance, and partner with suppliers and customers to meet demand and improve performance through Lean Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of managerial experience in a co-manufacturing or food production environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP and Oracle is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day plant operations including production, packaging, maintenance, quality control, and safety to meet targets and standards.
• Supervise and mentor a team of managers, supervisors, technicians, and staff, fostering safety, quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement production schedules and resource plans to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure QA and regulatory compliance, addressing non-conformities and driving process improvements.
