Job summary

Anchor Glass Container LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee 24/7 plant production and ensure safety, quality, and productivity.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing with 5+ years in operations leadership, plus strong change management and communication skills. You will lead multiple functions and collaborate with leaders to meet business objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing or equivalent.
• 7+ years manufacturing experience with 5+ years in operations leadership.
• Experience in change management and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Foster a team environment with strong communication and collaboration.
• Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
• Foster a culture of open, high-trust learning and accountability.
• Drive plant operations across departments including finance, manufacturing, quality, and HR.
• Develop culture with clear metrics, leading indicators, ownership, and accountability.
• Coordinate objectives to achieve safety, quality, reliability, productivity and people development.
• Monitor 24/7 operations to align with business objectives in safety and productivity.
• Lead 20–30 employees, strategic partners, and suppliers.
