Job summary

Anchor Glass Container LLC seeks an Operations Manager to oversee 24/7 plant production, ensuring safety, quality and productivity. You will develop processes to maximize efficiency and steward operations across multiple functions, leading a team through coaching and collaboration.

Responsibilities include aligning departments to strategic goals, maintaining regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in a high‑stakes manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing equivalent.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience with 5+ years in operations leadership.
• Experience in change management, process improvement and optimization.
• Ability to lead with trust and grow the team, with strong communication from shop floor to executive level.
• Willingness to be available 24/7 and holidays to support the facility.

Responsibilities

• Foster a team environment with strong communication, collaboration, and willingness to challenge the status quo.
• Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development to achieve goals.
• Foster a culture of open, high-trust learning and accountability.
• Drive overall plant operations including finance, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, materials, QA/QC, HR, and IS.
• Align objectives across functions to meet safety, quality, reliability, productivity and people development goals.
• Oversee 24/7 operations to ensure performance meets business objectives in safety, quality, productivity.
• Coordinate plant activities with managers to achieve manufacturing objectives and maintain accountability.
• Ensure regulatory compliance standards are met and roadblocks are resolved.
• Lead 20–30 employees, strategic partners, and suppliers.
