Job summary

Anchor Glass Container LLC seeks an Operations Manager to oversee 24/7 plant production, drive safety, quality and productivity, and develop processes for continual improvement.

With a focus on trust-building leadership and clear metrics, you’ll coordinate across manufacturing, quality, finance, and HR, guiding a team of 20–30 and collaborating with suppliers to meet strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing required.
• Manufacturing experience of 7+ years with 5 years operations leadership.
• Experience in change management, process improvement and optimization.
• Ability to lead in a way that builds trust and develops self and others.
• Effective communication at all levels – from shop floor to executives.
• Willing to be accessible 24/7 and during holidays to support the facility.

Responsibilities

• Foster a team environment with strong communication and collaboration.
• Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications and development.
• Drive plant operations across functions including manufacturing, quality, and HR.
• Develop culture of high trust, clear metrics, and accountability.
• Align objectives within functions to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and people development.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely resolution of roadblocks.
• Lead 20–30 employees, strategic partners, and suppliers.
