Job summary

MacLean Power Systems is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the Stockton area to partner on strategy, operations, and long-term goals for the facility. The role shares accountability for revenue, profit, and production targets, and drives safety, quality, and efficiency across the plant.

The ideal candidate will have deep manufacturing leadership experience, strong capital planning skills, and a proven track record in talent development and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, with 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience with P&L responsibilities and capital allocation planning.
• Expertise in Lean initiatives and continuous process improvement.
• Ability to coordinate with finance, sales, HR, operations, and logistics.
• Strategic leadership with strong communication and change management.
• Proven talent development and succession planning capabilities.
• Experience in a commercial role with direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and long-range planning for Stockton plant, including revenue and resources.
• Drive world-class manufacturing capabilities and capital project planning.
• Guide SI&OP processes with senior leadership across functions.
• Oversee production performance and cost control; address delays.
• Maintain safe, compliant, and efficient operations across facilities.
• Ensure high customer service levels and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with HR on talent acquisition and development.
• Foster employee engagement and leadership development.
• Promote an operating culture of professional growth.
• Perform enterprise-level duties as needed.
