Job summary

MacLean Power Systems in Stockton, CA is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Department and develop a site-specific quality strategy aligned with corporate objectives and ISO standards. The role oversees the integrated management system, supplier quality, incoming inspection, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science is required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related manufacturing experience with 2+ years leading Quality in manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and integrated management systems.
• Strong root-cause analysis, corrective action development, and data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and applying quality tools (APQP, SPC, MSA).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Quality Team with defined training and development.
• Design, implement, and sustain a site-specific quality management system aligned with ISO 9001.
• Oversee supplier quality, incoming inspection, metrology, and QA processes.
• Lead CAPA processes for customer complaints and drive corrective actions with engineering.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
• Define KPIs, map process inputs/outputs, and drive continuous improvement.
