Job summary

Image Associates Inc. in Northern Iowa seeks a Senior Plant Manager to oversee a metals machining and assembly operation of about 100 people. You will drive safety, quality, on-time shipments, and budget decisions in a hands-on leadership role.

Experience with CNC or manual machining, reading fabrication drawings, and managing skilled machinists and assemblers is preferred. This role is based in a small northern Iowa town, with strong emphasis on cost control and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in production and plant management for a steel parts and assemblies company.
• At least 10 years of experience, including 4 years in a supervisory role with budgets.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Experience managing skilled machinists, operators, and assemblers.
• Must have plant budgets and production-level management experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safety-first culture across the operation.
• Improve efficiencies in quality control and on-time shipments.
• Oversee a production organization that keeps workers safe while controlling costs.
• Make decisions about operating and capital budgets (P&L).
• Lead a team in production, supply chain, and facility maintenance.
• Improve plant profitability and drive quality and safety initiatives.
• Drive cost reduction through Lean practices and plant layout.
