Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation in Painesville, OH is seeking a Sr. Plant Manager to lead the site’s safety, reliability, and overall performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.

You will set the site strategy, build a culture of safety and accountability, manage operating and capital budgets, and partner across Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to deliver priorities while developing talent and fostering an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; Chemical Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years of chemical plant/manufacturing experience, including 5 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of process safety, risk management, environmental and safety regulations, and asset reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Painesville manufacturing site for safety, reliability, quality, delivery, cost, people, and capital.
• Set and execute site strategy and annual operating plan.
• Lead Manufacturing, HSE&S, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics and other site functions.
• Strengthen process safety, asset reliability, preventive maintenance, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Apply Lubrizol standards and operating systems to reduce risk and improve performance.
