Qualifications

• Five years of experience in building trades or energy plant operations.
• Three years of experience if a trade or vocational school graduate.
• Boiler and Chiller Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs service and repair operations to maintain energy plant equipment, furnishings, fixtures, and grounds to established standards.
• Ensures inventory of utility equipment remains current.
• Assigns preventative and corrective work orders to plant engineers and ensures satisfactory completion with proper documentation.
• Informs facility manager and supervisor of problems, recommends corrective actions and replacements.
• Coordinates and documents all fire and life safety measures to ensure compliance.
• Assists in training other plant engineers in energy plant operation/maintenance skills.
• Supports the organization through team commitment and involvement in engineering affairs.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with Orlando Health policies.
