Job summary

Nutrien in Geismar, LA, seeks an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead capital projects from design through completion, improving equipment and facilities.

You will work with outside engineering firms, manage budgets, risks, and schedule, and drive SHE, quality, and efficiency improvements across the site. Strong leadership and PE licensure, plus 10+ years in fertilizer/chemical operations, are preferred; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with related experience in fertilizer/chemical industries.
• At least 10 years in fertilizer, chemical, petro-chemical or related continuous process operations.
• At least 7 years managing capital projects; knowledge of Nitrogen and Phosphate processes desirable.

Responsibilities

• Directs project engineers, project managers, and staff to implement capital projects at the Geismar Plant.
• Oversees outside engineering firms and contractors involved in project activity.
• Oversees project development, design, cost control, scheduling and execution.
