Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is seeking a Planning & Support Project Manager IV to support senior management in aligning mission plans with DPAA Indo-Pacific priorities.

The role coordinates with DPAA PI to advance partner activities and ensure research and mission efforts are integrated. Located in support of DPAA, the position requires deep experience in military planning, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office tools; a T1/Public

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in planning and coordinating overseas military or humanitarian operations.
Extensive experience with DPAA mission and operations is required.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
Has a demonstrated history of initiative and achievement. Has a demonstrated history of working independently with client staff.
Has experience supporting and anticipating client needs and demonstrating problem-solving skills.
This position requires that you obtain and maintain a T1/Public Trust background check.

Responsibilities

Develops resourcing strategies to achieve DPAA goals and coordinates actions for sub-regional plans.
Supports reviews and planning teams; evaluates mission execution for compliance.
Identifies mission shortfalls and recommends modifications; coordinates cross-functional IP team.
Evaluates goals and develops proposals; reviews plans with senior management to ensure requirements and responsibilities are clear.
Assists comparing partner capabilities with DPAA requirements; supports conferences on partnerships.
Maintains awareness of partnerships through DPAA PI engagements with embassies and NGOs.
Proposes budgetary and personnel planning factors; drafts reports, briefings, fact sheets, and statements of requirements.
Liaises IP and DPAA PI to capture RAP/OPLAN requirements; provides status and coords solutions to RAP changes.
May perform other duties as assigned or required.
