Job summary

Ford Land seeks a senior Lead Planning and Estimating professional to drive estimates and schedules for major North American manufacturing projects. You will partner across Ford Land Engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and timely execution of campus refurbishments and new facilities.

The role requires 7+ years in construction, broad engineering discipline expertise, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction, or engineering.
• 7+ years of construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of planning, estimating, scheduling and construction processes.
• Experience with multiple engineering disciplines: civil, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates and plans for building and infrastructure projects, validating cost efficiency.
• Consult with Ford Land Engineering on requirements for buildings and plant wellness.
• Develop pre-implementation construction schedules for timely facility actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Ford Land teams to identify cost-effective solutions including VALUE ANALYSIS.
• Supervise and mentor team members and manage external relationships with consultants, contractors and service providers.
