Job summary

Ford Land is seeking a leadership-level professional to lead planning and estimating for major programs at North American manufacturing plant facilities. You will develop estimates, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure cost effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering and 7+ years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction or Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of related experience in construction.
• Strong expertise across civil, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Experience with manufacturing facilities and plant operations.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to manage external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates and plans for building and infrastructure projects with Cost Control.
• Consult with Ford Land Engineering on requirements for buildings, infrastructure, and plant wellness.
• Develop pre-implementation construction schedules for facility actions.
• Develop cost estimates for program changes; enter estimates into GMOD and support reviews.
• Provide budget timelines and program requirements to the Ford Land team.
• Collaborate across Ford Land teams to identify cost-effective solutions; engage Value Analysis/Value Engineering.
• Work with Environmental Quality Office to ensure compliance and support safety programs.
• Partner with North American Plant Refurbishment budgets to identify synergies for future projects.
• Supervise and mentor team members, including direct and matrixed reports.
