Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum six years of power system planning or operations experience is required.
• Experience with PSS/E power flow and TARA applications is required.
• Strong understanding of transmission reliability concepts and power system analysis is required.
• Ability to analyze complex scenarios and develop technically sound recommendations is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Intermediate Planning studies across an 18-24 month horizon, including Firm Service Step-Up analyses and staged recommendations.
• Conduct power system studies using PSS/E and TARA, including power flow, contingency, transfer, transient, and voltage stability analyses.
• Develop near-term strategies to maximize existing transmission system capabilities while ensuring reliability.
• Coordinate study scope, inputs, and results across multiple planning and operations groups.
• Improve data flow and transparency to support timely, well-informed decisions.
