Project Overview:
The Infrastructure GBU is rapidly growing across the Globe including Australia and the United States. Project scope includes airports, renewables and clean power i.e solar, and combined cycle power plants. Bechtel experience is in high demand and critical to the success of each project, this is an opportune time to join these teams in support of the many projects and prospects. This position will require flexibility and may start in the home office with the expectation that mobilizing to a field site may become necessary to support our customers. Selected candidates will nationalize in receiving country after appropriate visa is obtained.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will work with the project team to prepare schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations. You will apply established unit job hour and pricing data, perform schedule integrations, prepare work logic, identify restraints and potential impacts, develop recovery plans, and evaluate subcontractor schedules for improvements. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects stay on track and on time.

Major Responsibilities:

Level I

• Prepares schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations
• Establishes and maintains the schedule for a specific discipline area or specialty
• Performs schedule development duties to include establishing the work breakdown structure (WBS), determining the work activity duration, establishing the proper workflow logic ties, and developing the required job expenditure
• Performs schedule monitoring, including identifying critical activities and updating functions for specific applications, disciplines, or specialties
• Develops critical path schedule reports and schedule performance metrics
• Determines critical-path activities for assigned discipline or specialty work activities supporting interdisciplinary requirements
• Identifies and reports activities that have a critical or potential impact on the schedule
• Monitors and validates subcontractor schedules
• Evaluates subcontractor schedules for required workarounds or potential schedule improvements

Level II

• Applies established unit job hour and pricing data for a specific discipline or other specialty including estimating parameters, factors, indices, productivity, and craft distribution reference data
• Performs integration of individual schedules into the total project plan.
• Prepares performing organization's work logic in support of overall project schedule
• Performs schedule resource loading and leveling
• Maintains open communications with other organizations to support schedule maintenance and reporting

Education and Experience Requirements:

Level I

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

Level II

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with development and construction of major civil and building projects.
• Advanced skills using latest planning tools include P6, Power BI, etc.
• Skilled in oral and written communication, with a demonstrated ability to present planning and scheduling information to management and clients.
• Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems that impact project scheduling.
• Knowledgeable about current industry and technical developments.
