A leading company in marine and energy engineering seeks a Construction Planner to manage construction projects, from planning through execution. The role requires at least a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, extensive experience in construction planning, and proficiency in project management software. This position is key to ensuring timely and cost-effective project execution in complex marine settings.
Develops and manages detailed construction plans and schedules for EPCC projects, from tender through execution.
Key duties include conducting site surveys, preparing manpower and equipment planning, and formulating construction methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third parties to gather schedules, perform constructability studies, and lead project performance analysis using tools like earned value management and critical path analysis.
Prepares reporting tools (e.g., Gantt charts), maintains schedule updates, coordinates progress tracking, and supports multiple projects to ensure timely, cost-effective execution.
Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Marine, Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or related disciplines.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in construction planning in the marine/offshore industry.
Experience with design-build and construction management at risk delivery methods.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office products and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera Project Planner Version 6.0 or higher).
Good working knowledge of all phases of construction, including work done by various disciplines.
Experience in scheduling the design and construction of large-scale, complex projects.
Experience in developing and managing progress reporting methodologies for complex design efforts.
Ability to understand demanding, technical, and complex construction programs.
