Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in healthcare construction/renovation.
• BS degree in architecture/engineering/construction management or equivalent required.
• Technical expertise in several areas of healthcare construction/renovation.
• Ability to prepare schedules for complex construction programs and projects.
• Ability to develop construction cost estimates.
• Experience in developing and managing construction contracts.
• Experience in communication with regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee space allocation, develop alternatives for short/long-range planning.
• Oversee design and construction of new projects, renovations, infrastructure, and equipment installations with stakeholders.
• Ensure quality and safety of construction; exercise fiscal control for projects.
• Supervise project management staff; develop and maintain department policies and procedures.
• Manage performance, evaluations, workload coordination, and staffing for the team.
• Lead design processes for capital construction and life-safety projects.
• Ensure timely completion of reports for certificate of need, licenses, and code changes.
• Participate in space and capital committee processes; report on KPI achievement.
• Coordinate audits and risk analyses; escalate issues to leadership as needed.
