Job summary

GrayWolf Integrated Construction Company is seeking a Senior Planner/Scheduler to lead schedule development across large-scale heavy industrial projects. This senior role owns the full scheduling lifecycle and works with field, engineering, and client teams.

You will drive weekly reviews, 3-week lookahead planning, and EVM/forecasting, while mentoring junior planners and coordinating with project managers on manpower and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive planning and scheduling on large-scale heavy industrial construction projects.
• Proven track record leading integrated project scheduling and multi-discipline planning execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated, cost- and resource-loaded master project schedules for field execution across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Lead schedule development and coordinate planning alignment across construction, engineering, procurement, fabrication, and subcontractor teams.
• Drive weekly critical path reviews, variance analysis, and recovery planning to protect milestones and field execution.
• Lead 3-week lookahead planning sessions with superintendents, general foremen, and engineers for executable work plans and field alignment.
• Support Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and FIWP methodologies to improve productivity and planning discipline.
• Oversee earned value management and progress measurement for forecasting and reporting.
• Maintain field engagement to validate progress and support accurate schedule forecasting.
• Mentor junior planners and subcontractor schedulers on scheduling standards and field coordination.
• Partner with Project Managers on forecasting, change management, manpower planning, cash flow projections, and executive reporting.
• Produce manpower forecasts and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Identify schedule recovery and acceleration opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
