Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Graniteville, SC is seeking a Senior Planner/Scheduler to join our Power Systems team. This full-time role requires the ability to manage multiple suppliers, expedite, and maintain delivery schedules to ensure on-time materials flow.

The position supports a Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility for shifts. Candidates should have a materials management or procurement background and experience with supplier relations; SAP proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Management or procurement related field.
• 3+ years of supplier/materials management/planning experience, or 7 years total experience in similar roles.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and managing external suppliers.
• SAP proficiency and PC/MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple external suppliers and procure components to ensure on-time delivery.
• Expedite operations that delay schedules and adjust plans as needed.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and maintain Schedule Agreement delivery schedules.
• Keep management updated on progress and potential issues.
• Negotiate delivery dates and escalations with suppliers.

Job Title: Senior Planner/Scheduler

Working Pattern: Full Time - Must be available to work all shifts and/or flexible hours. This position has a traditional work schedule (Monday through Friday).

Working Location: Aiken, SC

What You Will Be Doing

• Managing multiple external suppliers and procuring components to assure on time delivery.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Prepares purchase requisitions and maintains Schedule Agreement delivery schedules to obtain materials.
• Keeps management abreast of progress, developments and pending problems.
• Negotiates delivery dates, expediting and other escalations with suppliers.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Management or procurement related field with 3 years of supplier, materials management, and planning/scheduling experience; or 7 years of supplier, materials management, and planning/scheduling experience.
• Familiarity in the Manufacturing Industry environment with experience managing external suppliers.
• Proficient with SAP, PC, and MS Office Suite.

• Familiar with plant operations/equipment and engine related components.
• Familiar with low volume supplier challenges.
• Knowledge of job-related product information.
