Job summary

The City of Redmond is seeking a Senior Planner to lead complex land use, zoning and development planning activities aligned with city plans and goals. You will develop analyses, coordinate reviews, and produce clear work products for decision-makers.

Qualified candidates will have a background in urban planning with strong GIS skills, public engagement experience, and the ability to guide projects from concept to policy implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in urban planning or related field or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree is preferred for advanced planning responsibilities.
• Experience in land use, zoning or development planning is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex land use, zoning and development planning projects.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary reviews and prepare staff reports.
• Engage with the public and stakeholders through outreach meetings.
