The role involves managing development projects, ensuring compliance with the Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations, and coordinating with state and federal agencies.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, 1-3 years of experience, and strong knowledge of planning theory, GIS, and public engagement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or higher in planning or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 1–3 years of community development and planning experience.
• AICP certification preferred; Wyoming/Idaho driver's license required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs technical and professional planning activities and manages planning projects.
• Prepares staff reports for Planning Commission and Board of County Commissioners.
• Reviews complex building permits for zoning compliance and records.
• Coordinates amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and LDR with state/federal agencies.
• Engages with the public and maintains confidential County information.
