Core States Group seeks an experienced Senior Planner (Land Development) to lead private land development projects and manage a team. You will guide strategy, planning, and execution, coordinating with clients and subconsultants to ensure timely, compliant approvals.

You will oversee complex lith planning tasks, due diligence, and entitlements, while mentoring staff and coordinating with leadership on staffing and project delivery. Interact with clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in urban or regional planning, geography, urban design, or a closely related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in land development or related field.
• Proficient knowledge of project management processes and land development principles.
• Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams.
• Ability to prioritize a diverse workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication and public speaking skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee programs: contract prep, scheduling, project assignment, performance tracking, mentorship, client liaison.
• Lead complex projects with site planning, due diligence, entitlements, and permitting.
• Research regulatory standards and collaborate with clients to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with team to develop site plans meeting client objectives.
• Prepare due diligence reports, environmental checklists, and project narratives.
• Oversee subconsultants and land use entitlement applications for timely completion.
• Advocate for prompt review and coordinate responses to comments.
• Represent client at meetings and hearings to advocate for approvals.
• Oversee processing of ministerial construction permits with staff.
• Collaborate using tracking tools and refine procedures with team.
