Job summary

Pinnacle Specialty Group, Inc. is seeking a senior Project Controls professional in Los Alamos, NM to support scheduling and cost analysis for DOE EM FAR-based EVMS compliance. You will guide PM and PC staff and provide managerial oversight.

The role oversees baseline development, cost engineering, EVMS, and change/risk management to ensure contract compliance. Strong leadership and Primavera P6 skills are required. BS with 10 years of experience including 5 in management is desired.

Qualifications

Job description

Position Summary

Support scheduling and cost analysis for the execution and implementation of the Option periods of the LLC utilizing DOE EM FAR-based EVMS compliance requirements. Provide technical support and guidance to the Project Management and Project Controls (PC) staff. This position will be responsible for managerial oversight of the staff.

This position oversees baseline development, maintenance, and execution. Oversees project controls staff including planning and scheduling, cost estimating and control, earned value management (EVMS), and baseline configuration management. Provides technical guidance, analysis, and reporting to ensure projects are executed in compliance with DOE and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises schedule development, maintenance and monitoring, cost engineering analysis and control activities.
• Reviews monthly EVMS reports.
• Responds to data calls from the Program Manager of Strategic Planning and Integration and the N3B Business Services Program Manager.
• Integrates change management and risk management with the N3B Risk Manager.
• Manages Funds Management analysis and reporting according to the limitation of funds clause in FAR 52.232-22.
• Prepares and reviews the preparation and presentation of cost engineering and planning activities.
• Supports project organizational and administrative activities.
• Identification of cost trends for management attention.
• Identifies, analyzes, and provides innovative solutions to cost engineering and schedule guidance to projects.
• Advises management of the status of work in progress.

Education:

BS and 10 years and should include 5 years management responsibility
