Job summary

As part of the Community Development Department, you will engage with complex infill and historic preservation considerations, collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver thoughtful, high-quality planning outcomes for California’s iconic coastal setting.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in architecture, planning, urban or environmental studies, geography, public administration, business management or a closely related field is required.
• A Master's degree is highly desired.
• Four years of responsible work experience in the field of planning in a public agency is required. Six years is preferred.
• Due to field duties, a California Driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.
• An American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Certification is highly desired.

Education
