Job summary

Pace is seeking a Senior Planner to lead a high-value Life Sciences and High-Tech Manufacturing project from Macclesfield. You will manage the full project lifecycle, develop logic-linked programmes, and optimize schedules in collaboration with the supply chain.

Qualifications

Senior Planner Opportunity - Macclesfield, UK!

We're searching for a high-calibre Senior Planner to take a lead role on a complex project for a major construction firm (confidential). This position is based in the Macclesfield area and focuses on the dynamic Life Sciences and High-Tech Manufacturing sectors.

Your Role: The Backbone of Project Delivery

You will be responsible for developing and managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring certainty and delivery against baseline. This includes:

• Developing, maintaining, and analyzing fully logic-linked contract programmes from first principles (design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover).
• Expertise in Primavera P6 and Asta PowerProject is essential.
• Leading the preparation of target programmes and actively seeking out schedule optimization opportunities.
• Engaging with the supply chain to validate programmes and resource requirements.
• Documenting and managing programme risk, including making provisions for Time Risk Allowance (TRA) and Terminal Float under various contracts (e.g., NEC/JCT ).
• Experience in 4D planning and using a Common Data Environment (CDE) is desirable.
