The role handles intake through trial preparation, with direct client contact, drafting pleadings, reviewing medical records, and supporting motions and trial subpoenas. Hybrid work allows some remote days.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of law and civil litigation, especially plaintiff-side medical malpractice in NY.
• Drafting pleadings, discovery demands, motions, and trial materials.
• Excellent communication, professional client interaction and empathy.
• Strong research capabilities and review of medical/legal materials.
• Careful document review and summarization of medical records.
• Several years in litigation/medical malpractice paralegal roles, preferably plaintiffs’ firms.
• Proficient with legal research tools, case management software, eFiling systems.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid setting.
• Paralegal certificate/degree or equivalent; trauma-related experience beneficial.
