Job summary

Burnett Specialists in Dallas is seeking an experienced Plaintiff-Side Personal Injury Litigation Attorney for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity. The role is 100% in office with 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM schedules, handling 50–60 active PI cases with dedicated paralegal support.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years of plaintiff-side PI litigation experience, solid training, and demonstrated ability to manage complex caseloads independently.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of plaintiff-side PI litigation and substantive case development.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.
• Experience working with liability and damages experts.
• Trial experience is required.
• Ability to independently handle and move personal injury litigation cases.
• Strong preference for substantive litigation training at a reputable firm.
• Strong employment stability with several consecutive years at the same firm preferred.
• Exceptional insurance-defense litigators will also be considered.
• Louisiana and/or Arkansas licensure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage 50–60 active PI litigation cases.
• Coordinate with dedicated paralegal support.
• Proactively communicate case updates to clients and team.
• Prepare thoroughly for mediations and depositions.
• Develop and implement substantive case strategies for trial readiness.
