Wheeler Staffing Partners in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney for a full-time, onsite role. You will manage an established plaintiff personal injury caseload focusing on motor vehicle accident cases, from strategy to settlement or trial.

The firm offers experienced paralegal and administrative support, with no business development requirements and a strong emphasis on litigation and client advocacy. A proven plaintiff-side trial record is preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active State Bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Significant motor vehicle accident litigation experience.
• Trial experience through verdict.
• Strong negotiation, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload.
• Strong organizational and client-relations abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases from filing through settlement or trial.
• Develop litigation strategies and evaluate liability, damages, medical records, and case value.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and defense counsel.
• Prepare clients, witnesses, and experts for litigation.
• Prepare cases for trial and serve as first-chair or second-chair counsel.
• Maintain client communication and meet court deadlines.
• Collaborate with paralegals and staff.
• Mentor junior attorneys and staff.
