Job summary

Law Firms in the Carolinas is seeking an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join its team. You will manage and support plaintiff cases from initial investigation through settlement and litigation, working closely with attorneys.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of plaintiff PI litigation experience and NC/SC exposure, with a strong grasp of discovery, pleadings, and case management across complex matters. This long-term role offers substantive litigation work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience is required.
• Strong preference for candidates with South Carolina and/or North Carolina plaintiff litigation experience.
• Demonstrated experience handling personal injury cases through the litigation process, not solely pre-litigation claims.
• Strong understanding of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation procedures, discovery, and case management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support plaintiff personal injury cases from initial investigation through settlement and litigation.
• Assist attorneys with all phases of civil and personal injury litigation.
• Prepare and organize pleadings, discovery, medical records, demand packages, settlement documentation, and other case materials.
• Draft and assist with responses to interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and other discovery.
• Track statutes of limitations, court deadlines, discovery deadlines, hearings, depositions, and other critical case dates.
• Assist attorneys with depositions, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
