Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active New York State license in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years handling plaintiffs' personal injury matters in NY.
• Proficient litigation skills: drafting documents, depositions, courtroom appearances.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a caseload of personal injury cases from initiation through resolution.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel and insurers to negotiate settlements.
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in mediations/arbitrations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff to develop case strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in personal injury law and trends.
