Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a PKI Systems Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure PKI systems, ensuring reliable certificate services. You will monitor PKI health, enforce policies, and perform audits to meet regulatory requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in PKI, strong cryptography knowledge, and scripting skills. Onsite with occasional hybrid options in a fast-paced, DoD‑aligned environment. Top Secret clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field; experience may substitute education.
• Minimum of 5 years of related PKI experience.
• Strong understanding of public/private key cryptography and digital certificates.
• Hands‑on experience with certificate authorities, registration authorities, and hardware security modules.
• Experience with PKI tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of X.509, TLS/SSL, OCSP, CRLs.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
