Job summary

ENS Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced PKI Engineer/IAM Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise identity and access management and cryptographic infrastructure in our Maryland operations.

The role requires strong Linux administration, hands-on PKI expertise, and automation using Ansible and Bash. You will collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to enforce policy, security standards, and reliable certificate management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in PKI engineering, infrastructure security, or systems administration.
• Linux system administration expertise.
• Hands-on PKI, CA design/operations, LDAP integrations.
• Experience with certificate lifecycle management and automation.
• Knowledge of certificate policies, profiles, and extensions.
• Strong understanding of asymmetric cryptography, TLS/SSL, and trust models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise PKI environments.
• Administer Linux-based PKI services and related infrastructure.
• Manage certificate lifecycle including issuance, renewal, revocation, validation.
• Develop automation for deployment and lifecycle management using Ansible and Bash.
• Configure LDAP integrations and directory services for PKI.
• Define and maintain policies, standards, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot PKI issues related to certificates, trust chains, TLS/SSL.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance.
• Implement monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery for PKI systems.
• Create and maintain documentation and runbooks.
