Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Senior PKI Security Engineer to own PKI operations, certificates, and encryption for a large enterprise. You will lead PKI projects, coordinate with dispersed teams, and drive improvements in availability and security.

The role requires senior PKI experience, strong problem-solving, and collaboration across global teams. Remote work is available; familiarization with public CAs and automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 2 years of PKI experience.
• Experience with public Certificate Authorities (Digicert and Sectigo).
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering; ITIL familiarity; AWS cert; Python or scripting; UNIX experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage issuance and lifecycle of public Certificate Authority certificates.
• Register and manage domains and validation processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-severity issues and respond to customer questions.
• Monitor PKI and certificate incident queues and resolve issues.
• Create, review and implement changes to PKI and certificate environment.
• Lead PKI and certificate-related projects or act as team member on PKI projects.
