Job summary

The Maryland Public Service Commission seeks a Senior Advisor to the Commissioners to provide research and analysis on policy matters related to PJM Interconnection and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission that affect Maryland.

The position requires excellent analytical and communication skills and will involve supporting Commissioners on technical, legal, and policy issues, participating in meetings and hearings, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, law, or related field.
• Four years of experience in legal, utility, energy, engineering, or economic policy analysis.
• Two years of experience working on PJM and/or FERC issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide research and analysis on policy matters related to PJM Interconnection and FERC that affect Maryland.
• Support Commissioners on technical, legal, and policy issues, participate in meetings and hearings, and prepare reports.
